Did you not invite a family member or friend to your wedding? How do you feel about it today?

I'd say it depends on what they did to hurt you. If it was just harsh words, or something else minor you may actually be able to move past in the future, then forgive and forget for this occasion. But if they did something that was really awful (like I'm not inviting my aunt to my wedding after what she did when my grandmother passed away; won't get into it but it was horrible and didn't hurt just me) then by all means, don't invite them. Especially if you know they'll go out of their way to ruin your special day or to cause some other problems.

If you are ready to forgive, or think you might be able to forgive in the not-too-distant future, then send the invite. If you know that your relationship with this person is over, then don't include them.

Reply:I am having the same issue with a friend but I think it's just time we went our separate ways... so I will not be inviting him to my wedding.
Reply:I've been married twice and haven't had a wedding yet. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
Reply:I got married on my lunch hour and didn't invite any one to my wedding. Been married 37 years now and don't regret it a bit. Got married in front of a Justice of the Peace.
