How do I invite new sims to my town? wii?

It seems like they just pop up at the hotel... I havent done anything to invite them. Is there a way to do that? on the wii

if it's my sims for the wii then you go to the hotel every morning and talk to someone you like. talk to them for the second time and it will appear move in sim. they will say okay.when you click it then you go to a empty lot and it will say move in sim then you click it and start to build the house.

Reply:yeah you just gotta go talk with them and it will ask you if you wanna invite them or not onless youro ut of room or some thing or its your first one and you need to go talk to the mayor first, its just as simple as askign them to go by pointing to them
