How do you have sex or invite friends when you live with roommates?

Never lived together with roommates and it seems like I'll be moving in with 2 others this fall. How do you go about inviting some of your friends when there is only one living room, or even taking it thus far to inviting some ladies and having sex? I will have a different girl every weekend - will that make a bad impression?

well i think the best thing to do would be to talk about it with ur room mates before moving in!


maybe they won't even have a single prob with ur way of living or if ever they do, you could make a roaster system- meaning deciding who'll bring whose friend's home n on which day, others could chose to stay at some friend's place on this particular day or making himself really small in his room n not trying to merge with ur friend's.


as for ur love-making sessions :) maybe u could refrain from having them in the living room while ur friends are around!


as it is u are going to have ur own room, so y bother so much?ull have a minimum of liberty of bringing whoever u want in it even if it's big mama lol

You invite them over to hang out then you take them to your room and lock the door. If your roomates are disgusted that is their problem.
Reply:I had a roommate who would just close her door but I could hear through the walls it was totally gross, my sister was the same way. I never minded people being over but sex was a different story, make sure your walls aren't too thin.
Reply:The most courteous way is to let your roomies know ahead of time if you'll be entertaining, especially a date. That way they can make other plans if they want. I always tried to include my roomies in conversation if they were around me and my friends in the common area.





As for dating a new person every weekend, that's your business, but I would make sure to have a spot in your room (a cushy chair, a papasan) to entertain them. Your roomies mught be offended if you treat the place like Grand Central Station.

Reply:You set up a fund that each one contributes to on a weekly basis. The fund goes into a jar in a cupboard in the kitchen.





When you have a visitor over that you want to be intimate with, you put up an innocuous colored piece of paper under a magnet on the fridge; sort of like a flag that a ship waves.


This is a signal to your roommates and cannot in anyway


be interpreted by an outsider.





When the sign goes up, the roommates are required to leave the premises and can take money from the jar to fund however they wish to occupy their time for the two or so hours they have to leave the apartment. This time limit is agreed to beforehand.





Judging from your description, your roommates may actually be able to create a second income from the jar and should be quite satisfied with the arrangement. LOL!
