How do I invite a person as a friend on my 360 when I don't know their email address or use IM?

I couldn't seem to find the answer in the 360 area. I'm sure I'm just overlooking the obvious, but I sure would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to go about this?





Of the 3 options given in "360 Help":


1) invite through IM. I don't use IM, or accept IM


2) invite through my address book. I don't have them in my address book.


3) manually enter their email address. I don't know their email address.





So, I need help with this seemingly simple procedure.

If their 360 page is public,there's a green plus sign under their profile box.It should say "add" underneath it.Click on it,and a page will come up where you can invite them.
Reply:Have you a phone number? I think that they cannot be much of a friend if you dont even have an address for them.
Reply:well, sounds like your gonna have to get their email address from them and then add them...
