How do not invite my friend to my birthday without hurting his feelings?

i have a really close friend, and he doesn't fit in with any of my other friends, and i really like him (as a friend) but i don't know how to not invite him or if i just should because he is picked on by my other friends and we have different scenes at school. any suggestions??? (be real on this one guys)

If he is a good friend and a true friend don't ever let someone else sway your decision on what to do. You say he is a good close friend of yours. If you are a good true friend of his you should do the right thing. You know what the right thing to do is, so go do it. Don't ask stringers.
Reply:Its a tough thing, but you have to decide what is more important, is it your friend's feelings or your feelings that are getting in your way of inviting him. You might ask him to do something special like come for the family party or go to a movie to celebrate but depending on how important your relationship is to you. Or you could ask him outright what he'd like to do. But i thing you should consider that the ones you are going to invite sound like they are rude and inconsiderate and most likely they are not the type pf people you will want as Friends as you get older, but maybe this other one is? Think about it.
