How to address on a envelope if you only know the wife, but want to invite the husband also.?

Will it be Mrs %26amp; Mr Mary Thomas or Mrs %26amp; Mr Roy Thomas
How to address on a envelope if you only know the wife, but want to invite the husband also.?
Just simply...Roy and Mary Thomas is perfectly correct and casual. The man's name should always go first.
Reply:just say the wife's name "Mrs Mary Thomas and Family" or "Mr and Mrs Thomas" or if you really want to write the husbands name why dont you call her and ask his name? Like what the person above says, you never address a Mr %26amp; Mrs with the female's first name, its always with the guy's name.
Reply:it would never be "mrs and mr mary thomas" lmao

it would be "mr and mrs roy thomas"...like after a wedding ceremony, the minister always says i now pronounce you mr and mrs (whatever husbands name is)

if you dont wanna do it that way, you could just say "to mr and mrs thomas"
Reply:If you know his name then it should be addressed as: Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brown. If you don't know his name you could address it to Mrs. Sally Brown and guest.

You never address it as Mrs. and Mr. Mary Thomas.
Reply:how about - Thomas Family or The Thomas"
Reply:Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (last name here)

That seems good.
